1. explain Subjective and Objective theories of Negligence. How do you reconcile these 2 theories ?

2 Negligence is not actionable unless the duty to be careful exists.Õ - discuss .duty to take care. as an essential requisite of the tort of negligence.

3. discuss the nature of duty of care in the medical profession. explain the extent of application of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 to medical profession.

4. What is know as contributory negligence? explain different theories that have been advanced by jurists as to the basic principle of contributory negligence.

5. elaborate the essential requisites that must be current for the application of the doctrine of res ipsa loquitur ?

6. explain .damages. as a civil remedy. Distinguish ranging from liquidated and unliquidated damages.

7. elaborate the factors that may be considered by the courts in assessing damages in an action for personal injuries ?

8. How to measure damages in the event of loss or damage to property because of negligence ?

9. explain briefly the compensation provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

10. Write short notes on any 2 of the subsequent :
(a) Rule in Donoghue V. Stevenson.
(b) The legal regulations Reforma (Contributory Negligence) Act 1945.
(c) Proximate reason.
(d) Principle of social insurance.
