1. describe assault and distinguish it from battery and point out the circumstances when they may be justified.

2. describe nuisance and explain the scope of ‘Public’ and ‘Private nuisance’ with reference to leading cases.

3. explain the elements of false imprisonment and malicious prosecution and distinguish ranging from the two.

4. describe the tort ‘Defamation’. Distinguish ranging from ‘Libel’ and ‘Slander’.

5. discuss the scope of contributory negligence in the light of decided cases.

6. discuss the defences for an action on the tort of strict liability.

7. Distinguish ranging from ‘Deceit’ and ‘Conspiracy’ with relevant illustrations.

8. discuss the tort of ‘Nervous - shock’ with leading case legal regulations.

9. explain the different modes in which extinction of liability in tort may take place. discuss the rules for assessment of damages for loss of expectation of life.

10. Write short notes on any 2 of the following:
(a) Passing off.
(b) Injuria Sine Damno.
(c) Liability of occupier towards visitors.
(d) Conversion.
