12.It is needed to design a concrete mix as per ACI method for an airfield pavement. The pavement is to be designed for a minimum compressive strength of 25N/mm2 at 28 days. The laboratory tests on the controlling mix show a standard deviation of 4N/mm2. The specific gravity of CA is 2.68, its dry rodded density is 1600Kg/m3, and its maximum size is 40mm. The specific gravity of FA is 2.64 and fineness modulus is 2.80. A slump of 25mm is specified. OPC will be used. presume any data suitably. (15marks)
