SECTION – B

5.       Differentiate between the focus of rehabilitation efforts during the acute and post acute phases of stroke rehabilitation.

6.       Explain the etiology and clinical features along with role of physiotherapy in upper trunk brachial plexus injury.

7.       Describe the role of exercises in MND.

8.       Write a short note on physical problems of the child with spasticity ?  Briefly discuss its physiotherapy management.

9.       What is UMN & LMN bladder ?  Discuss its management.

1.       A 40 year old male was involved in motor vehicle accident on admission to trauma center he was found to have fracture at level of T₄ with no motor or sensory function distal to T₄ level.  Describe the physiotherapy management of such patient.

2.       Describe the clinical features and physiotherapy management of Parkinson’s disease.  How can one distinguish it from Parkinson’s plus syndrome.

3.       Describe the clinical features, differential diagnosis and physiotherapy management of G.B. syndrome.

4.       Describe the cerebellar signs.  Enumerate various causes of cerebellar ataxia.  Add a note on balance and coordination training in such patients.
