SECTION - A

SECTION – B

Attempt any 8 questions. Answer to each question upto 2 pages in length. Each questions carries 5 Marks.                                                                                            [40]

1.       Describe any one brace used for management of scoliosis in detail.

2.       Describe the parts of a shoe along with diagrammatic description.

3.       Discuss the various levels of prevention for poliomyelitis.

4.       Enumerate the principles of rehabilitation nursing.

5.       Write a CBR plan for persons with locomotor disabilities in rural areas.

6.       Discuss 2 statutory provisions for persons with disabilities and their importance.

7.       Set up a Rehab department in a rural area.

8.       Describe a myoelectric hand.

9.       Write management for a patient with hearing loss.

10.     Draw and describe self care devices for independent dressing, eating and writing that can be made for a patient with multiple deformities in hand.

11.     Teach and train bed activities to a disabled.

12.     Evaluation and vocational goals for people with disability.

SECTION – C

Attempt any 2 questions. Answer to each question upto 5 pages in length. Each questions carries 15 Marks.                                                                                           [30]

1.       Discuss principles for application of lower limb orthoses.  Describe leather-metal AFO’s in detail (draw diagrams wherever possible).

2.       Describe transtibial prosthesis in detail (draw diagrams wherever possible).

3.       Discuss in detail the role of all rehabilitation team members.

4.       Write the methods for identification and assessment for a mentally subnormal person.  Discuss the rehabilitation of mentally subnormal, including vocational training and home education programme.
