Q2) a) Define the term ‘Wages’ under the Payment of Wages Act, 1936. Who is

Explain the various authorities and remedial measures under the Payment

of Wages Act, 1936.

b) Explain Fixation of Minimum Rates of Wages by ‘Time Rate’ or by

‘Piece Rate’ under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.                        [10]

under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.
