Q.1) Discuss with the help of appropriate case laws the procedure of appointment of Judges of the Supreme Court and the High Courts in India. [15]
Q.2) Examine the position and powers of the Governor of the State as a representative of the President under the Indian Constitution. [15]
Q.3) “The Concept of 'Co-operative Federalism' helps the Federal System, with its divided jurisdiction, to act in the Union. It minimizes friction and promotes co-operation among the Constituent Governments of the Federal Union so that they can pool their resources to achieve certain desired national goal.” Evaluate this statement in the Indian context. Q.4) The 52nd Constitutional Amendment Act has added Xth Schedule in the Constitution to prevent the politics of defections in India. Discuss the effectiveness of the amendment and subsequent the Anti-defection Law in India. [15]

Q.6) The residuary powers are legislative powers that fall in none of the three lists under the Constitution of India.
