Q1) a) What is the importance of error analysis and contrastive analysis in the

teaching and learning of language?

OR

b)  Bring out the difference between peer teaching and micro-teaching and

state how they are useful to the language teacher.

 

 

Q2) a)Answer any one of the following:

i) Comment on the significance of non-native literary texts in enhancing

the learning of English language in Indian context.


ii)       ‘Offering English for Specific Purposes courses indicates a break

with the long tradition of English as part of a general education’. Explain.

b)       Answer any four of the following:

i) What is remedial teaching? What are its methods?

ii) What are the merits and demerits of lecture method?

kept in mind’. Explain.

What are the aims and objectives of teaching fiction in India?
