ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS (4 x 25= 100 Marks)
1. a) Draw the projection of a straight line CD of length 75mm having one of its end 25mm above H.P and 15mm in front of V.P. The line is parallel to H.P and perpendicular to V.P.
OR
b) A cone of base diameter 60mm and altitude 70mm rests with its base on the HP. It is cut by a section plane perpendicular to both the VP and the HP and passing through the cone 10mm to the left of the axis of the cone. Draw the development of the lateral surface of the right portion of the cut cone
2. a) Draw the front view, top view and side view of a hexagonal plane surface, when its surface is parallel to H.P and perpendicular to V.P.
OR
b) Draw the Top view Front view, right side view and left side view of the object shown in the figure
3. a) Draw the front view, top view and side view of a square pyramid of base edge 30mm and height 65mm.
OR
b) A pentagonal pyramid of base edge 40mm and altitude 70mm rests on one of its base edges on the HP with its axis inclined at 30° to the HP and parallel to the V.P. Draw its projections
4. a) A hexagonal prism of base side 25mm has 60mm height. Draw the development of the prism.
OR
b) Draw the isometric view of the frustum of a hexagonal pyramid when it is resting with its base on the HP with two sides of the base parallel to the VP. The side of the base is 20mm and that of the top is 8mm. The height of the frustum is 55mm.
