Q.1. a) What is Artificial Intelligence? Explain how an AI system is different from a conventional computing System. [8]

b) Wbat is Knowledge Based Expert System ? Discuss the use of KBES for artificial intelligence. [8]

Q.1. a) Wbat is an AI Techniques? Discuss with suitable example. [8]

b) What are the different steps to solve an AI problem? [8]

 

 

Unit - II

 

 

Q.2. a) Distinguish between data, information and knowledge. Present an overview of knowledge representation methods. [8]

b) Explain the algorithm for steepest hill climbing? [8]

Q.2. a) Give an example ofa problem for which breath first search would work better than depth first search. [8]

b) What are the differences between forward and backward chaining, discuss both with a suitable example. [8]

b) Highlight the representation techniques of Perceptrons and also mention their limitations. [8]
