SECTION-A (Marks : 30)
1. Describe the clinical features, investigations and management of acute myocardial infarction. 10
2. Write brief notes on:- 10
(i) JNC-VII classification of hypertension
(ii) Causes of irregularly irregular pulse
(iii) Diseases which can be diagnosed on PBF
(iv)) Investigations in SLE
(v) Treatment of hypoglcemic coma.
3. Write short notes on:-
(i) Management of fulminant Hepatitis 4
(ii) Management of acute left heart failure 3
(iii) Immune modulator drugs in rheumatoid arthritis 3
4. Describe clinical features, investigations and management of iron deficiency anemia. 10
SECTION-B (Marks : 30)
5. Describe clinical features, investigations and management of diabetic ketoacidosis. 10
6. Write notes on:-
(i) Tabulate differences betwwen Hypoglycemic Coma and Hyperglycemic Coma 4
(ii) Enteric fever 4
(iii) Myxedema 2
7. Write short notes:-
(i) Snake bite poisoning 4
(ii) Enteric fever 4
(iii) Investigations in cerebral malaria. 2
8. Write the management:-
(i) Post exposure prophylaxis in HIV
(ii) Hepatitis-B vaccination
(iii) Fungal infections of nails
(iv) Angioneurotic edema.
NOTE: In this paper enteric fever is asked twice.
