1.     What do you mean by a project? 

2.     What is a milestone chart?

3.     Draw a sketch to demonstrate event and activity and briefly explain the difference.

4.     What is work break down schedule?

5.     What is the probability of completing a project in 28 days if the expected completion of the project is 31 days and the Standard deviation of the project is 2?

6.     Define ‘time cost trade off curve’

7.     What do you mean by Crashing?

8.     What do you understand by resource allocation?

v    Activity 2 and activity 3 can be done concurrently and both
    must follow activity 1.

v    Activity 2 must precede activity 4.

v    Activity 5 cannot begin until both activities 2 and 3 are 
    completed.

v    Activity 6 can be started only after activities 4 and 5 are
    complete.

v    Activity 7 is the last activity that can be started only after
    completion of activity 5.

Prepare the bar chart for the project.

Assumptions:

v   Activity 2 can start only after activity 1 is over.

v   Activity 3 can start when half the work of activity 2 is over.

v   Activity 4 and 5 can start concurrently, but only after activity 3 is over.

v   Activity 6 and 7 can start concurrently, but only after 5 is completed.

v   Activity 8 can start only after activities 6 and 7 are complete.

v   Activity 9 can start even when half of activity 8 is over.

v   Activity 10, 11 and 12 can start only when activity 9, 8 and 11 is over respectively.

v   Activity 13 can start when activity 10 is haft over.

The project commences on Monday 21st July. Assuming five working days in a week, prepare a bar chart of the project.
