1.         How large is the 8088’s memory address space?

2.         What kind of information is stored in the index registers?

3.         Define – Instruction Set.

4.    Identify the addressing modes used for the source and the destination operands in the instructions that follow:

       a.  MOV AX, BX                        b.         MOV AL, 15H

5.    What is an idle state?

6.    In which bank of memory in an 8086 based microcomputer are odd-addressed bytes of data stored?

7.    Which sizes of down counters are used in Programmable Interval Timer?

8.    What are functions of base and current address registers in 8237 (DMA)?

9.    List out the different types of interrupts in the 8086/8088 microprocessors.

10.  What happens when the instruction HTL is executed?
