Answer All the Questions
11.   A circular disc of radius ‘a’ m is charged uniformly with  a charge density of rs C/m2. Find the electric field at a point ‘h’ m from the disc along its axis.
(or)
12.   Derive the expression for the potential at a point P, h meters above a circular disc charged to rs C/m2. Hence deduce the potential at the centre of the disc.
13.   Find the total current in a circular conductor of radius 4mm if the current density varies according to J=(104/r) A/m2.
(or)
14.   A cylindrical capacitor consists of an inner conductor of radius ‘a’ and an outer conductor whose inner radius is ‘b’. The space between the conductors is filled with a dielectric of permittivity e, and the length of the capacitor is L. Determine the capacitance of this capacitor.
15.   What is Biot-Savart-law? Find the magnetic flux density at a point Zon the axis of a circular loop of radius a that carries a direct current I.
(or)
16.   Find H at the centre of an equilateral triangular loop of side 4 m carrying a current of 5A.
17.   Derive the expression for co-efficient of coupling in terms of mutual and self inductances.
(or)
18.   Find H in a magnetic material.
                (a) When m = 0.000018 H/m and M = 120 A/m.
                (b) When B = 300 mT and magnetic susceptibility = 20.
19.   Derive the Maxwell’s equations for fields varying harmonically with time.
(or)
