PART – B                       (5 x 12 = 60)
Answer ALL the Questions
11.   Perform circular convolution for the following sequence using DFT – IDFT principle. x1(n) = {2,1,2,1} x2(n) = {1,0,1,0}
(or)
12.   Compute DFT for the following sequence using DIF-FFT algorithm. X(k) = {1, -1, 1, -1, 1, -1}
 13.   Design a Butterworth filter using the Bilinear transformation method for the following specifications:
0.9 £|H(ejw|£ 1 ;            0 £w£ 0.2p
|H(ejw|£ 0.2;                    0.4p£w£p
(or)
14.   A band reject filter of length 7 is required. It is to have lower and upper cutoff frequencies of 3KHz and 5KHz respectively. The  sampling frequency is 20KHz. Determine the filter coefficients using Hanning window. Assume the filter to be causal.
15.   Explain the characteristics of a limit cycle oscillation with respect to the system described by the difference equation y(n) = 0.95 y(n – 1) + x(n). Determine the dead band of the filter.
(or)
16.   Develop the cascade and parallel form realization of the system described by the difference equation
y(n) + 0.5y(n – 1) – 0.25y((n – 2) – 0.125y(n – 3) = x(n) + 3x(n – 1) + 2x(n – 2)
17.   Explain the sampling rate conversion by a factor ‘D’. Derive the input and output frequency spectra relation.
(or)
18.   Describe and derive the sampling rate conversion by a rational factor in multirate signal processing.
19.   Explain the architecture of TMS 320 C5X DSP processor.
(or)
20.   Explain briefly about the various addressing modes in DSP processor.
