1.     Define propagation constant of a transmission line.
2.     Mention various types of loading.
3.     What are the constants for the line of zero dissipation?
4.     What are microstripliner?
5.     Design a quarter wave transformer to match a load of 200Ω to a source resistance 500Ω.the operating frequency is 200MHz.
6.     Distinguish between single stub matching and double stub matching.
7.     Define wave impendence.
8.     What is the condition for velocity of propagation?
9.     Write about impossibility of TEM wave is wave guide.
10.   Mention the dominant modes in rectangular and circular wave guide.

13.   Parallel wire tx’n  line is having following line parameters at 5KHz.series resistance  R=2.59X10-3 Ω /m    series inductance L = 2µh/m,shunt conductance ġ=0Ω/m, Capacitance=5.56PF/m,find the characteristics impedance, attenuation constant, Phase constant, velocity of propagation and  wavelength.

14.   Deduce the condition for SWR and also input impendence is terms of reflection coefficient.
15.   A 75Ω lossless TX’n line is to be matched with a (100 – j80)Ω load using single stub .Calculate the stub length and its distance from load corresponding to frequency Of  30MHz using smith chart

17.   Derive the  component of E and H field strength between pair of parallel   perfectly conducting planes.
