UNIT-1
1. discuss in detail segmentation mechanism of 8086. provide suitable examples.
2. discuss various addressing modes supported by 8086 with examples.
3. discuss arithmetic instructions of 8086 with improper examples.

UNIT-2
4. discuss with examples difference ranging from procedure and macros.
5. Write a program in 8086 assembly language to print Fibonacci series
( 1st 10 numbers).
6. Write a program in 8086 assembly language to generate 1st 10 prime
numbers.

UNIT-3
7. discuss in detail system bus timing for out operation in maximum mode. Draw timing diagram.
8. Draw and discuss block diagram of 8259A PIN.
9. Draw and discuss the configuration of 8086 in minimum mode.

UNIT-4
10. discuss in brief DMA operation . Draw and discuss various control word formats of 8237.
11. Interface 32K RAM and 32K ROM with 8086. presume chip size of 8K. Draw interfacing diagram, memory map and decoder table.
12. discuss various address decoding technique in detail.

UNIT-5
13. List and discuss all data kinds supported by NDP 8087.
14. Write a program in 8087 assembly language to obtain the square root of quadratic formula
ax^2+bx+c=0.
15. discuss in brief the closely coupled configuration . Also discuss the significance of RQ/GT0 and RQ/GT1.
