7. What is equality of educational opportunity? How is it maintained in society?
8. Define culture. Explain the relationship between education and culture.

10. Critically examine the contributions of John Dewey in modernising Indian education system.

12. Explain major social institutions and discuss their relationship with each other.
13. What do you mean by social mobility? Discuss its types. How is educational mobility related with occupational mobility?
14. Explain the agencies of social change in India and examine the major constraints on social change.
15. Define sociology of education. Explain the meaning and scope of sociology of education.
