OPHTHALMOLOGY
Time: Three Hours
Max. Marks: 40
(Use a separate answer book for each section.)
Question No. 1 & 5 in Sections-A and B are compulsory.
Attempt any TWO questions from the rest of the questions in each section.

SECTION-A Marks:20
1. Write short notes on any TWO of the following:-
 (i) Disciform keratitis
 (ii) Sturm's conoid
 (iii) Orbital cellulitis.
2. Discuss in brief the objectives and activities covered by the National Program for Control of Blindness(NPCB).
3. Write about the etiology and treatment of sympathetic ophthalmitis.
4. What is the clinical picture and management of a case of Keratoconus.

SECTION-B Marks: 20
5. Write short notes on any TWO of the following:-
 (i) Visco-elastic substances
 (ii) Paralytic Vs Non-paralytic strabismus
 (iii) Age Related Macular Degeneration (ARMD).
6. Clinical features and management of Herpes Zoster Ophthalmicus.
7. Clinical features and management of Acute Congestive Glaucoma.
8. Write short notes on any TWO of the following:-
 (i) Management of Epiphora in an infant
 (ii) Structure of pre-corneal tear film
 (iii) Optic Atrophy.
