1. Both the transistors in the subsequent circuit on the right have d.c current gain of 50 ,Vbe of 0.7V andVcesat of 0.1V.The voltage applied to the base of transistor switch and the desired output waveform are shown. The retrace time must be less than 5us. Design the circuit. Will the output voltage go to zero during negative half cycle of Vb ? discuss ?




2. The gating waveform in the subsequent transistor bootstrap circuit is the identical as Vb in the last issue Using transistors with DC Current Gain of 100 and Icmax of 20mA design the circuit to produce a sweep which goes to 7.5V in 1ms.Calculate all the component values. The retrace time must be <5% of sweep time and the sweep speed fault must be <3%.
