1 .a) UML is unified modeling language .Comment on this.
b) Distinguish ranging from microprocessors and micro controllers.
2. a) Draw SCON and PCON special function registers and discuss the functions of every field.
b) Draw and discuss the block diagram of 8051 micro controller.
3. a) discuss the significance of PUSH and POP opcodes.
b) Swap the bits of every nibble in register R% in such a way that bits 0 and bits one are swapped
with bits two and three and bits four and five are swapped with bits six and seven respectively.
4. a) explain the role of flags in performing arithmetic operations and also explain what
instructions affect the flag.
b) Write a program that puts 1 random number in R3 and a different in R5. Perform the
increment operation on R3 and decrement operation on R5 until they become equal

b) How CAN bus is various from I2C bus? discuss in detail.
