3. “Short ans kind ques. (SAQ)” is a supply kind ques. of five marks,
which require typical ans of about 15-20 lines in about 08-10 minutes.
4. Use of non-programmable kind of scientific calculator is allowed.
5. Draw neat diagrams wherever necessary.

Long ans kind ques. (LAQ’s)

1. Draw the block diagram of 8051 and discuss the function of
each.

2. (a) discuss the instructions to rotate register contents 1 bit
left, right with and without carry.
(b) With the help of examples discuss 4 kinds of external
data move instructions.


3. Write algorithm and assembly language program to generate a
square wave at pin P1.5. Use timer 0 to generate delay. presume
frequency of crystal 11.0592 MHz.

4 (a) Draw interfacing diagram to interface four x four matrix keys to
8051 microcontroller and discuss it.
(b) Draw flowchart for detection and identification of key in
matrix keyboard.
