(d)    What is the structure of a "C" program ?    5

2.    (a) What are the differences between signal and unsigned data type ?    10

(b) What is primitive data type ? What is user defined data type ? Give an example of each 10 type.

3.    (a) Write a program to accept a string from console and to display the number of vowels 10

in the string.

(b) Write a program an integer from console and to display whether the number is even 10 or odd.

4.    (a) What is a pointer ? How it is declared and used in a C program ?    10

(b) What is a struct in C ? How is a struct declared in C ? 10

5.    (a) What are different parts of a for construct ? What is behaviour of a for loop where these 10

parts are not provided ?

(b) How is while loop different from do... while loop ? Write a loop logic of your own using 10 both these loop constructs.

6.    (a) Write a program to accept the radius of a circle from console and to calculate and 10

display its area and circumference.

(b) Write a program to accept five numbers from console and then to display them back 10 on console in ascending order ?
