1.(i) What is a logic gate? elaborate positive and nagetive logic systems ?

(ii) elaborate fault detection and correction codes ? discuss parity code .

(iii) What is a code converter ? Design a logic circuit for converting four bit binary code to gray code.

(iv) discuss NAND and NOR gates. Why are they called Universal gates ?

(v) describe flip flop, latch. elaborate the applications of flip flop ?

(vi) describe modulus of a counter. What is tghe maximum modulus of three bit binary counter ?

(vii) discuss speed power product of logic gate ?

(viii) describe noise, noise immunity and noise margin.

4. What is the difference ranging from Synchrionous and Asynchronous counter ? discuss four bit Asynchronous DOWN counter in detail.

5. elaborate digital IC's ? discuss SSI, MSI, LSI, VLSI, and ULSI .

9. describe ROM and its various kinds. discuss the 2 dimensional addressing of ROM.
