1.    What do you mean by 'Human Resource Planning'? Why is it necessary? Discuss in detail various steps of HRP process.

2.    Describe the meaning and nature of Human Resource Policy on an organization and also discuss Indian perspective on HR Policy.

3.    Explain Recruitment Process and discuss how law of equal employment opportunities and affirmative actions influence recruitment process? And also highlight advantages and disadvantages of various external recruitment sources.

4.    What do you understand by the term Transfer? Discuss the need and essentials of a sound transfer policy for a large public sector organization.

5.    What is Job-evaluation? What are its objectives? And also explain point method and factor comparison methods of job evaluation.

6.    What do you mean by 'Compensation'? Differentiate between minimum, fair and living wages and also give an account of voluntary fringe benefits being given to employees.

7.    What is Collective Bargaining? What are its merits and demerits? Explain the procedure and precautions for effective and successful collective bargaining.

8.    What are joint management councils? Explain their functions, constitution and working with special reference to Indian Industrial set-up.
