PART B:Answer any 3
1.the major and minor axis of an elliptical water pond are 8m and 4m respectively.Draw ellipse by oblong method and draw normal and tangent to any point on the curve.
2.a rocket shot up on the air reaches the maximum height of 700m and fall on the ground and at a distance of 1800m from the point of projection. Trace the path of the rocket in space.
3.draw a hypocycloid when the radius of the directing circle is twice the radius of the generating circle.Radius of the generating circle is 30mm.
4.a threadis unwound from a cylinder 35mm diameter.draw the locus of the thread for unwinding 1 complete rotation and also draw tangent and normal at any point on the curve.
