2. (a) Water having subsequent composition to be softened by lime soda process
Ca(HCO3)2 = 220 ppm, Mg(HCO3)2 = 56ppm, MgCl2 = 130ppm, MgSO4 =
84ppm, CaSO4=98ppm, compute the amount of lime and soda needed to
soften 106 litres of water.
