6. Old hens can be bought at Rs.2/- every and young ones at Rs. 5/- every. The old
hens lay three eggs per week and the young ones lay five eggs per week, every egg being
worth 30 paise. A hen costs Re 1/- per week to feed. I have only Rs 80/- to spend
for hens, how many of every type should I buy to provide a profit of more than Rs 6/-
per week, assuming that I cannot house more than 20 hens. Formulate the L.P.
issue and solve this graphically. [16]
7. Derive expressions for differentiation expressions connecting deflection, slope, bend-
ing moments shear force and load using concepts of backward difference terms in
