f. Who are the few people who care for neglected children

g. CRY was started by……………….

h. CRY tries to …………………….

A.2 learn the subsequent passage carefully :

IN THE GALLERY

I watched the oil painting intently.

The moon , barely visible,veiled

Softly behind thick rain clouds ;

Building silhouettes , skylining

The acrylic background ; a lamp-post

Casting a circle of colors ;on the tarmac

A beggar squatting under the lamplight ;

Ploughing his skinny fingers

Through a bowl of rice ; and a small

Mud –bathed dog beside him lying coiled

The tone, earth brown and deep gray,

The frame.. heavy and ornate.

Suddenly the lights in the gallery failed

Turning smooth white walls pitch black

In the interim darkness

Before the emergency backups lit on

Echoed a scratchy piercing cry

a few of shifting ,shuffling then silence.

lights came back a moment later

that canvassed beggar now absent

leaving the dog's mouth

Frothing in the cracked. clay bowl

The identical painting looked so various

disrupted , stark , cold

I came out of the gallery,

Or to the scorching street ,started

Walking along the graffiti smeared

Wall, stopping now and then.

To learn them and smell the peeling paint

someone tapped me on my shoulder

It was the identical beggar
