Exexplain with neat sketches and p-v diagram, the working principle of 4-Stroke petrol engine. [10 Marks]
(b) A 4-Stroke petrol engine of 100mm bore and 150mm stroke consumes 1kg of fuel per hour. The mean effective pressure is seven bar and it’s indicated thermal efficiency is 30%. The calorific value of the fuel is 40000 kJ/kg. obtain the crankshaft speed. [10 Marks]
