Unit I

1) (a) Draw the subsequent circuits and discuss brief
i) Inverting Amplifier (4)
ii) Window Detector ( 4)
(b) discuss the function of Square Wave Generator with Waveform (7)

2) (a) Draw the circuit of a Band pass amplifier and band stop amplifier using Op amp and discuss its working with an example (8)
(b) discuss the function of a Schmitt Trigger with waveform (7)

Unit II

3) (a) Draw the functional block diagram of a 555 timer and discuss (7)
(b) Draw and discuss the circuit of a 555 timer used as an astable multivibrator(8)

4) (a) Draw the building blocks of a PLL and discuss the working of all blocks. Also describe capture range, lock range and pull in rang.(15)

5) Write the design steps for a traditional synchronous sequential circuit and discuss with an example
