Q.1 (a) discuss principle of Prestressing. (5)
(b) discuss subsequent terms: Axial Prestressing, Cap Cable,
Circular Prestressing, Relaxation in steel, Degree of Prestressing. (5)
(c) discuss “concept of Load balancing” with reference to Prestressing. (6)
(d) define Post -tensioning, its merits and demerits. (3)

(e) explain advantages of Prestressed concrete. (6)

tension/Post-tension construction used in Delhi flyovers projects. (25)
