Q.5 describe ‘Factory’ under Factories Act 1948, elaborate the health and welfare
provisions under the Factories Act, 1948?

Q.6 discuss the different deductions which can be made by an employer from
the wages of an employee under the payment of Wages Act, 1936?

Q.7 discuss the different authorities for the settlement of industrial disputes
under the Industrial Disputes Act 1947. discuss their functions in brief?

Q.8 (a) When is an employer not liable to pay compensation to a worker
under the workmen’s Compensation Act, 1923?
(b) What is the procedure for getting a trade union registered under the
Trade Union Act, 1926?
