UNIT - I
1. (a) explain the breakdown in electromagnetic gases taking suitable example. (8)
(b) define the applications of gases in power system area. (8)

(a) explain the suspended solid practicle mechanism breakdown taking suitable example. (8)
(b) explain the treeing and teacking breakdown in solids in detail. (8)


UNIT - II
2. (a) define the basic voltage about multiplier circuit for high voltage generation. (8)
(b) define about the cascadded transformers for hogh ac voltage generation. (8)
