UNIT-I
1. define the different geomorphological divisions of Rajasthan and write their characteristic features.
2. Write a brief description of Delhi Supergroup of Rocks in Rajasthan with emphasis on its distribution, classifcation, lithology and igneous intrusions.
UNIT-II
3. Write a note on the Sidhrath Group and Malani Igneous Suite of Rocks of Rajasthan with special emphasis on their distribution and lithology.
4. Write short notes on the subsequent :
(a) Economic importance of Marwar Supergroup of rocks.
(b) Classification of Vindhyan Supergroup of rocks.
(c) Sirohi Group.
UNIT-III
5. define in brief about the Tertiary rocks of Rajasthan indicating their classification and fossil contents.
6. Write detailed notes on the subsequent :l
(a) Mesozoic formation of Rajasthan.
(b) Hydrocarbon prospects in Tertiary rocks of Rajasthan.

7. Write short notes on the following:-
(a) Hydrologic cycle
(b) kinds of aquifer
(c) Permeability and Transmissibility.
8. Write a note on occurrence of ground water in igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks.
UNIT-V
9. Write an essay on the ground water resources of Western Rajasthan.
10. discuss in brief the electrical resistivity method for ground water prospecting.
