1. a) explain Fraunhofer diffraction due to single slit and derive necesaary formula with neat diagram. [Marks 6]

b) Distinguish ranging from Fresnel kind and Fraunhofer kind of diffraction. [Marks 4]

of 11o. If the scientific rotation of sugar under the provided experimental conditions is 66o.
