(b) How many divisions are there in a COBOL source program? Indicate

used in PICTURE character string. (4 marks)

(b) What is structured programming? discuss the objectives and methodologies of structured programming. (10 marks)

VIII. A large organization with 10,000 + employees intends to implement voluntary retirement scheme for its employees completing 45 years of age or more on first April 2004. Write a COBOL program to print a report showing all details such as name of employee, employee number, division to which attached, designation of employee, date of birth. discuss the program logic also. presume all data are available in a master file. You can make your own assumptions and assumptions made if any may be discussed and justified if necessary. (15 marks)
