2. What is ethical relativism?
3. What is utilitarianism?
4. Explain individualistic ideology.
5. Write a brief note on role of ethical leadership.

6. Explain why 1 should study ethical theory.
Or
7. What is a moral right? When moral right clash, how does 1 decide ranging from them.

8. What are the values of capitalism? How ethical problems operate in such economic system?
Or
9. “Big business is always bad business” – explain the pros and cons from ethical point of view.

10. Explain with suitable examples how ethical practices differ in various countries.
Or
11. Discuss few ethical dilemmas in Human Resource Management.
12. What is price-fixing? What is its purpose? Is it morally allowable? Why or why not?

13. If a local entrepreneur is justified for paying bribes, suggest measures for resolving such moral dilemmas.

part C (Compulsory)

16. “A married woman came to me. She is running around. I am also counseling her husband, and she asks me, ‘Do you think my husband is running around?’ I told her no. And he isn’t. He’s a good man. I wouldn’t tell the husband that the spouse is running round if he asks me, but I know damn well she is running round. I have to lie to the husband because if I say, ‘I don’t know’ or ‘I can’t tell you’, or if I refuse to ans on the ground that I have a professional and confidential relationship with the wife, he will believe his spouse is running around.”

“Since I am a professional person, I will be believed if I say the spouse is not cheating. I am patching up a relationship then. In our culture if you tell a lie with a straight face, it will be believed.

Arab culture is a face-saving culture ; American culture is a guilt-ridden culture. I will not feel guilt at lying. I would feel shame if someone obtained out that I was lying, but I will act to protect myself from being obtained out. I sometimes feel I shouldn’t send an Arab client to an American social worker if there is an problem in which guilt and shame are involved.
