Introduction to fuzzy sets and systems. Basics of fuzzy sets member ship function, support of a fuzzy set, height- normalized fuzzy set, set theoretic definitions on fuzzy sets, complement, intersection and union equality, subset hood – basic definition based on member ship functions
MODULE 2
The legal regulations of the excluded middle and legal regulations of contradiction on fuzzy sets. Properties of fuzzy sets operations. Extension of fuzzy sets concepts- kind two and level two fuzzy sets- examples
MODULE 3
Operations on fuzzy sets- intersection, algebraic sum-product, bounded sum- product, drastic sum product, t- norms and t- conforms on fuzzy sets, typical parameterized t- norms and s-norms. Extension principle and its applications
