  1. Question paper is divided into Group A, Group B, and Group C
  2. Each Group is 25 marks
  3. Figure to the right in bracket indicate marks.

Group A (25 Marks)

Answer any three questions (Question 1 is compulsory)

Q.1 Define following terms : (i) Change point (ii) Fore Sight (iii) Station Point

(iv) Height of instrument (v) Back sight (5)

Q.2 What are different natural errors in leveling. (10)

Q.3 Describe any one method of observing the bearings of lines by fast needle method (10)

Q.4 Explain the temporary adjustments of a transit theodolite. (10)

Q.5 Describe briefly the use of various accessories of a plane table. (10)

 

Group B (25 Marks)

Answer any three questions (Question 6 is compulsory)

Q.6 An observer standing an the deck of a ship just sees a light house is 42m above the sea level

& the height of the observers eye is 6m above the sea level. Find the distance of the observer form the light- house. (5)
