1.Write short notes on the 1st 7 topics and expain the last 3 groups of poetic lines following: 20
(i) Chaucer's humour as revealed in "The Prioress"
(ii)Significance of the title 'Present in Absence'
(iii) The ode as the form of a poetry.
(iv) "La Belle Dame Sam Merci" as a ballad.
(v)Central idea of Shelley's "Ode To The West Wind".
(vi) Character of the Duke in 'My Last Duchhess'
(vii) Significance of the Sea in'Dover Beach'.
(viii) "And she had little dogs she would be feeding,
With roasted flesh or milk,or fine white bread,
And bitterly she wept if 1 were dead."
