1. Explain magnetic focusing.

2. How does multimeter measure current? discuss.

3. What are the characteristics of inductor?

4. Draw the d.c model of a zener diode and discuss.

5. Why is biasing required? elaborate the different kinds of biasing?

6. How is two point chosen? discuss.

7. Why does PIV differ for various rectifiers?

8. Which kind of filter is independent of load? Why?

II.

1. Explain, in detail, the electron motion in perpendicular electric and magnetic fields?

2. Quantitatively discuss electrostatic and magnetic deflection sensitivities.

1. What are the various kinds of capacitors? discuss their characteristics.

2. What are 3 configurations of a BJT amplifier? Compare the 4 important parameters of all the three.
