SECTION-A
1. discuss how Baron Hausberg was both a millionaire model and a model millionaire.
Or
Relate, in your own words, the story of ‘Accident’ written by Agatha Christie. 15
2. Write briefly the ideas expressed by Pt. Jawahar Lai Nehru in his essay, I My childhood.’
Or
provide in your own words, a summary of ‘Tight Corners’ written by E. V. Lucas. 15
3. (a) Write a summary of the poem :
‘On Receipt of My Mother’s Picture’
Or
‘The charge of the Light Brigade*
(b) Bring out the central idea of the poem When I consider Life’ Or ‘All for Love’
(c) discuss with reference to the situation : No war or battle’s sound

8. Translate the subsequent into Modern Indian Language :
Youth is the most glorious period of one’s life. It is the age of fun and frolic. But it is quite unfortunate that the modern youth is spoiling his life by falling prey to the use of intoxicants and drugs. Young boys and girls make use of drugs in order to derive joy and thrill. a few become addicts because of their frustration owing t6 stresses of life resulting from unemployment or their family issues. The government, the political parties and the social organizations must come forward to bring the youth on the right track.
