1. Define the following:
Gati, Paran, Chari, Bharmari.[Marks 18]

2. Write the development of Kathak Dance in Mughal Period.[Marks 18]

UNIT-II

3. What do you mean by Gharana? How they are various from every
other?[Marks 18]

4. Give a comparative note on Group Dance and Solo Dance.[Marks 18]

UNIT-III

5. Give a biographical sketch of Maharaja Sunder Prashad ji and his
contribution in the field of Kathak Dance.[Marks 18]

6. Write about the Folk Dances of Himachal Pradesh.[Marks 18]

UNIT-IV

7. Write a note on Guru Shisya Parampara.[Marks 18]

8. Write the importance of Gayan and Vadan in Dance.[Marks 18]

UNIT-V

9. Write the following:

(i) Write the description of Adachautal with its Ekgun, Dugun and
Chaugun.
(ii) One Kavit in Teen Taal.
(iii) One Amad and Paran in Adachautal.
(iv) One Chakardar Tora in Teen Taal.
(v) One simple Paran in the taal having sixteen matras.[Marks 18]
