1. Draw a well labelled diagram of a sewing machine.Explain its different

2. Proper equipments and supplies should be used in tailoring the garments,

3. (a) Define Anthropometery. What precautions should be taken while
taking body measurements ?[Marks 6]

(b) What are all measurements needed for constructing ladies
Kurta ?[Marks 2]

4. Differentiate ranging from drafting and trend making. discuss their
advantages..[Marks 8]

5. (a) Differentiate ranging from warm colours and cool colours.[Marks 4]

(b) What kind of colours should be worn by short and stout
person ?[Marks 4]

6. Balance plays a major role in designing of a garment.Explain with the
help of illustrations.[Marks 8]

7. Explain the factors kept in mind while selecting fabrics and apparels
