The poor workman feels himself more than repaid for his sweating toil to procure for them the necessaries of life, When he returns at evening and is greeted by their smiles and laughters. Even the poor slave, who has with laboured like a horse for his cruel master, and has met with nothing but ill treatment and low curses all the day, forgets and for gives all, When he reaches home and mixes again with his children the free and frank laughter which rings in the happy home, the joyful sounds of the little ones are the sweetest music that can fall upon the human ear or thrill the human heart.
