(a) Write a program to accept a group of strings count 25 occorences of a particular word in the shing, number of characters, number of words in a shing.
(b) Write an applet which passes a welcome message form 15 the first applet to second applet.
Develop a web application to reserve online in a hotel. 40 The user should enter date of arrival, number of days, room type, number of persons etc. He would be able to confirm booking and allowed to pay advance on confirmation.

(a) Write a shell script which takes input of file name 25 and print firest ten lines of that file. The file name is
to be passed as command line argument. If the argument is not passed then any 'C' program from the current directory is to be selected. (Don't use head command).
(b) (i) Write a sort sequence to order emp. list on the 15
date of birth.
(ii) Count number of characters in first five lines of the file xl.
(iii) Write an awk command to display the fields of each line in reverce order from file xl.
(iv) Display lines having atleast in the file first.
(v) Command to add two spaces to the begining of each line and two dashes at the end of each line.
