1    Write a C program to check whether the given number is prime or not. [25]

2    Write a C program to input a string and extract a portion of it from m [25]

character starting from nth position.

Create following tables with appropriate constraint

Deptmaster(deptno,deptname)

Empmaster(empno, fname,lname, managemo, deptno, salary, city, dob, address)

Note : manager is also one of the employee

(i)    insert atleast 10 record

(ii)    display name of the employees who are from Valsad

(iii)    change the size of address field to 25

(iv)    list the employee name whose birthday is in current month

(v)    display the deptname who have no employee

(vi)    increase the salary of the employee whose salary is less than 6000

(vii)    list the all employees departmentwise

(viii)    how many employees are there in purchase department

4 Prepare annual account of Dharmesh and CO. using following opening [30] balance and transaction for the month August, 2005:

Aug. 1 Goods sold to Chandani Worth Rs. 25,000 @ 10% trade discount by cash.

Aug. 5 Received commission Rs. 2,000 and paid carriage inward Rs. 1.000.

Aug. 7 Bought goods from Abhishek Traders Rs. 9,500.

Aug. 8 Received an order for supplying goods from Niraj SharmaRs. 10,000.

Aug. 11 Paid Insurance Premium for the shop by cheque Rs.

850.

Aug. 15 Goods sold to Neha Rs. 550.

Aug. 28 Sent goods to Niraj Sharma as per his order @ 10% trade discount.
