2.What is a research problem? explain the main problems which should receive the attention of the researcher in formulating the research issue. provide suitable examples to elucidate your points.

3.Why probability sampling is generally preferred in comparison to non-probability sampling? discuss the procedure of selecting a simple random sampling.

4.What is rating scale? In what alternate forms can it be designed? elaborate its merits and demerits?

5.What are Type-I and Type-II errors? How do they arise? How can the probability of these errors be reduced?

7.Describe the considerations and steps involved in planning report writing work.

8.Explain the meaning of analysis of variance. define briefly the technique of analysis of variance for one-way and two-way classifications.
