3. a. AP = f (p,u, Re ) for a fluid flowing through a circular pipe. Determine the function using dimensional analysis.    (4)

( bffi. tube 60 mm OD is insulated with 50mm layer of silica foam( k=0.055 w/m c) followed with a 40 mm layer of cork (k= 0.05 w/mc).Calculate the heat loss in w/m of pipe.(Pipe temp= 150C,Cork outside surface temp=30C ).    (6 )
